Preliminary Bat Roost Assessment

Often known as a Phase 1 or PRA bat survey.  This survey forms the building block and initial step in a two step process.  Further emergence surveys carried out between May and September may be required if evidence of bats is found.

This is a basic walkover assessment supported by a desk study.  It is carried out in daylight and involves a physical inspection of the property or structure for signs of bats and bat activity.  We will make an assessment of habitat value and report on our findings. Drone imagery of the roof is also sometime collected.
